"ROCK BAND" UPDATE...
Starting Fall 2018, all 7/8 grade students who wish to continue performing in "Rock Band" ensembles need to sign up for MUSIC EXPLORATIONS class. This includes drummers, piano players, and vocalists. Only students who register for "Music X" will be eligible to perform in student "Rock Band" ensembles. Please visit the "Music X" page for more information.
STRUT: Guitar Festival is a celebration and showcase of the growing guitar education programs in public schools. We believe in the power of music to give students a voice and a purpose that will make positive change in the world. Through guitar, students learn and practice competence, commitment, dedication, persistence, individual, small and large group work skills that will enable them to thrive in any setting and apply these concepts in life for the betterment of humanity. Starting 2018-2019, STRUT has been divided into three separate events spread out over the course of the entire school year. Students in Guitar and Music X are eligible to participate.
